Let’s start with the main event here. The Light Heavyweight championship of the world is on the line. Some might say this is an easy fight for the heavy favorite. Not me, i was in person for Dominik Reyes’ last fight when he starched former world champion Chris Weidman in Boston. It was highly impressive and proved Dominik was no slouch in the main event spot vs a big name. I believe Dominik Reyes is the most dangerous fighter jon jones has faced since Daniel Cormier. He presents many challenges for Jones, first of all is the length, the undefeated record, he is supremely confident and is a big believer in himself and that is so important vs someone as great as Jones. He’s got LEGIT one punch knockout power, he’s shown it vs Weidman and OSP, two high class level fighters. He’s got great footwork and movement, and what people aren’t talking about it Jon Jones struggled with Thiago Santos in his last fight. It was really close. He has a style and blueprint to mimic with attacking his leg and trying to make him throw punches. I think its a dangerous fight for Jon BUT i think Jon Jones KNOWS how dangerous this is for him and when he is motivated like that, like the GREAT champion he is, he’s going to rise to the occasion. He needs a real threat to scare him and motivate him to fight and perform. I think we see arguably the best version of Jon Jones we’ve seen, which i know seems impossible. But Jon Jones when he feels pressed is going to be a killer and i think he’s going to knock out Dominik in the 3rd or 4th round, but DO NOT underestimate Dominik Reyes. But, when you’re the GOAT, i have a hard time ever evveeer picking against Bones Jones.

Lets move on to the Women’s Flyweight championship of the World. This one is a little easier for me to call. All respect to Katlyn Chookagian, but she is a +700 underdog for a reason. She is extremely high level skilled but my God she is fighting an absolute ASSASSIN in Valentina Shevchenko. Valentina is the 2nd best women’s fighter in the world behind Amanda Nunes, which are the 2 of the 3 losses on her resume. She is a dam russian assassin, im not joking. She honestly might beat Katlyn in the first minute, because she is so freakin high level above the rest of the women in this division. If Katlyn pulls off a win, which is possible because Anything can happen in this sport, which is why it makes it the best in the world. Would i be shocked if that happened, beyond words. But never say never fam. So sit back grab some Coors Lights and buy this fight or go to a local MMA bar. Its not very often you get to watch the greatest fighter of all time perform a masterpiece. Watch and learn ladies and gents. Mac out.
