We got a heavyweight battle in Wichita, Kansas this weekend ladies and gentlemen. We got Derrick “My balls was hot” Lewis against Junior Dos Santos, which in my opinion is the name of an absolute warrior. Derrick Lewis is coming off a title fight loss to DC in November while JDS is coming off a huge W against Australian and up and comer Tai Tuivasa.
Derrick Lewis is adamant he is turning a corner in his career after fighting 3 times in 4 months in 2018. He believes he is just reaching his peak and hasn’t showed what he can do yet. Meanwhile, JDS, a future champion and hall of famer is trying to reclaim that glory and a victory of Lewis will propel him closer to that title shot. To make it simple, this is a VERY big fight with MASSIVE implications. I have a weird feeling JDS is on a path to return to glory more so than believing Derrick Lewis has turned a corner. It pains me to pick against Lewis, but i think JDS wins this in the 4th round by TKO. After his performance against Tuivasa, i am confident JDS is on his way back to glory. Either way this goes tho, this will be a WAR, and a painful one at that.
